Mild Ale

A can-conditioned, unfiltered mild — soft, malty and easy-drinking. The name is one of the hidden beaches on the Cleddau Estuary: secluded, and unusual in having a wall built by the estate along the back of it. Brewed for the pub handpump and the picnic bench: pour it cool rather than ice-cold and it suits anything off a griddle.

Wizo Rhubarb Saison can

Rhubarb Saison

A tart, sparkling saison brewed with rhubarb — sharp pink stalk over a dry, peppery farmhouse base. It is named for Wizo Flanderis, who led the Flemish who came to West Wales in around the 12th century. Independently brewed in Pembrokeshire. Crisp enough to cut through fish and chips, and just as happy on its own on a sunny afternoon.

Belgian Tripel

A strong, cask-conditioned Belgian tripel — golden, spicy and deceptively smooth, with enough strength to earn its name. The name itself is a 12th-century vaulted cellar near St Mary's Church in Haverfordwest, long shut to the public and now covered over with concrete. Winner of National UK Gold for Speciality Cask at the 2026 Indie Beer Awards, run by the Society of Independent Brewers. Pour it tall and sip it slowly.

Barley Wine

Named for the winter weather event that brings Pembrokeshire its rare snowfall — a sturdy West Wales barley wine, toffee and dried fruit up front, warming through the finish, and better with a bit of bottle age. Best poured at cellar temperature alongside a hard cheese, or saved for the fire.

Pembrokeshire Promise India Pale Ale can

Pembrokeshire Promise

India Pale Ale

A smooth, drinkable India pale ale — citrus and stone-fruit hops over a soft biscuit malt base, with a dry, bitter finish that keeps the promise. The name is a local one: the commitment that's rarely fulfilled, the 'maybe tomorrow' everyone here recognises. This one actually arrives. Our pick for the garden, the harbour wall, or anywhere the tide's going out.
